What is Profound Strength?


Profound Strength is a personal training, strength & conditioning, and athletic training facility. We offer a variety of services that allows us to maximize your success. Each category is distinct in its goals and has different parameters to improve success. Clients and patients often utilize one or more of our services to complete their program.

Fitness


The fitness category is for individuals who want to improve their fitness, tone, and want to look and feel better. The normal fitness client would like to focus on:
  • Full body or targeted workout
  • Emphasis on muscular strength
  • High intensity exercises

Injury Prevention


The injury prevention client is typically one that has been injured in the past, has not been active recently, and is apprehensive of returning to normal activity. The typical injury prevention client needs to focus on the following:
  • Joint range of motion
  • Core Stability
  • Postural deviation correction
  • Improving strength and coordination throughout the kinetic chain

Injury Recovery


The injury recovery category is focused on recovering after an athletic injury. The main priority is improving functionality, range of motion, and strength of the injured area but attention is given to maintaining fitness, symmetry, and strength of the uninjured areas as well. The typical client/patient for this category needs:
  • Pre-operative conditioning
  • Post-operative conditioning
  • Chronic pain management
  • Non surgical injury recovery/strengthening

Sports Performance


The sports performance category is reserved for elite, professional, and serious recreational athletes or those that wish to improve specific athletic skill. The main focus of the sports performance session is increasing strength, speed and power as well as flexibility and technique. The typical client for this category is:
  • Elite Athletes
  • Endurance -Aerobic- Athletes (Runners, Triathletes, Cyclists)
  • Power/Strength -Anaerobic- Athletes (Sprinters, Martial Artists, Track & Field Throwers, Baseball/Softball)
  • Off Season Athletes

Fat Loss


The fat loss category is for individuals who would like to focus on weight loss, improving body composition, and tailoring nutrition programming to their needs. The typical fat loss client needs:
  • To lose >15 lbs
  • Education on nutrition
  • Motivation and education on exercise
